A single coat of grease-up before starting to run is extremely effective.
Did you know that there is a rule of thumb for greasing, or rather, a simple distinction between different types of greases and that this rule often produces great results? Here, we will introduce two types of grease according to the part to be used.

  1. All-purpose grease and rubber grease
  2. Maintaining lubrication conditions starts with cleaning and cleanup
  3. First, there is cleaning, aiming for a definite effect.

There are various types of grease. MP=Multipurpose grease is literally an all-purpose grease.
In contrast to such multipurpose greases, rubber greases, and molybdenum disulfide greases are used for specific purposes. Here, we will focus on multi-purpose grease and rubber grease.
High-performance lithium-based grease is blended with an additive SUPERZOIL component (which reduces metal-to-metal sliding resistance) to maintain high lubrication performance and minimize wear and noise caused by metal-to-metal friction. SUPERZOIL GREASE is an all-purpose grease that adheres strongly to lubricated surfaces under a wide range of temperature conditions and provides excellent rust prevention. SUPERZOIL  rubber grease uses a special synthetic lubricant in the same system as brake fluid as the grease base oil. Since it is compatible with brake fluid, it can be used safely even when overhauling brake parts.
It can be used under a wide range of temperature conditions and is characterized by its resistance to carbonization even at high temperatures.

The side stand is only correct when it works smoothly, but in some cases, it may not work properly due to a lack of lubrication. In such cases, remove the side stand and first thoroughly clean the area around the pivot hole and the side of the stand. Insert the pivot tightening bolt by itself, and if the sliding part rattles, it is obviously poorly lubricated. If the bolt is already worn out, purchase an appropriate bolt from the manufacturer’s genuine parts and replace it.
Apply an appropriate amount of grease around the pivot hole and on the sliding parts when inserting the bolt. This should improve the operation of the bike.
Also, try parking the bike by leaning over and pulling out the sidestand with your left foot.
This is the basic procedure when stopping, but if the side stand does not come out smoothly, it will be very troublesome. To prevent this from happening, it is important to lubricate the operating parts that are used frequently on a regular basis. Many motorcycles that have been ridden with no maintenance have enlarged the side stand pivot hole due to poor lubrication, or the bolt is worn out and rattles. This rattling causes the bike to lean too far when the side stand is parked, leading to an awkward appearance. Especially on large models, the pivot parts of the side stand and main stand should be greased regularly.

Poor lubrication inside the throttle holder is a major cause not only of poor operability but also of throttle wire breakage. Disassemble the throttle holder and visually check that the winding part operates smoothly. If the whole area is dirty, clean it with parts cleaner and grease it up. If the wires are dirty, clean them with a parts cleaner and grease them up. Apply grease to the exposed parts of the wire with your fingertips. Be careful not to apply too much. Do not start the engine immediately after completing the work. Do not forget to adjust the free play of the engine start wire after checking the operation of the throttle.
