Eight-Tips-for-Installing-the-Spiral-Cutter-Head

There are 8 tips you should know before installing the carbide tipped segmented spiral cutter head.

1. When the spiral cutter shaft has been installed on the machine and the blade is to be replaced, the power supply of the equipment must be turned off first.

2. Use an air gun or a brush to remove debris, dust and other foreign objects on the woodworking spiral cutterhead.

3. Rotate the wrench counterclockwise to loosen the screw (if the screw is too tight or rusty and difficult to loosen, knock the screw first, be careful not to knock the blade, and then loosen it with a wrench).

4. Use an air gun or brush to remove the debris and dust on the tool holder to ensure that the tool holder is clean. To avoid blade breakage or “edges” on the planing surface.

5. To change a cutting edge, scrub the woodworking reversible blade and rotate it 90 degrees to a fresh surface.

Note: There is a marking point on the surface of the blade to ensure consistent orientation and avoid wrong replacement of new and old blade surfaces.

6. Press the blade lightly and slide it a few times to make the bottom surface of the blade fit the tool holder. Tighten the screw clockwise, and the blade will automatically press against the positioning table of the tool holder. (Note: In order to ensure that the screws and screw holes will not be seized or rusted, and avoid being difficult to loosen next time, the screws should be lubricated with oil when changing the blade).

7. Carefully check whether the blade is correctly placed on the tool holder to avoid breaking the blade when locking the blade.

8. Check the blade before use. If it is broken, please replace it immediately to avoid safety accidents and damage to the machine, accessories or project. Check the screws frequently to avoid loosening of the screws.
